Sammy Hafer
Operations Manager
Sammy Hafer serves as the Operations Manager at Fusion Fund. Before Fusion, he worked as Chief of Staff at Prime Movers Lab, a deep tech venture capital firm where he supported operations and investor relations.
Prior to PML, Sammy collaborated closely for seven years with the founding team at K5 Global, a venture firm and startup incubator. In this role, he oversaw fund operations as they raised and deployed capital across 120+ companies. At the incubator, he played pivotal roles in strategy and operations, scaling startups like Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila, Parrot (an AI-driven digital court reporting agency), Blue Vision Labs (a localization and mapping software company for self-driving cars, acquired by Lyft in 2018), and Represent.com (a custom merchandise platform, acquired by CustomInk in 2016).
Earlier in his career, Sammy focused on celebrity talent relations and live event production, working with Ryan Seacrest and Nickelodeon on projects like the Kid’s Choice Awards. He holds a bachelor's degree in Classical Civilizations from Yale University, where he also sang bass in the world-famous collegiate a cappella group, the Whiffenpoofs.
