Sammy Hafer
Operations Manager
Sammy Hafer serves as the Operations Manager at Fusion Fund. Before Fusion, he spent seven years as Chief of Staff at K5 Global, a venture capital firm and startup studio.
In this role, he oversaw fund operations, strategy, and investor relations as the team raised and deployed $650M across 120+ companies. At the studio, he played pivotal roles in scaling eight startups, including Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila; Parrot, an AI-powered digital court reporting and deposition platform (acquired by Filevine in 2025); Blue Vision Labs, a localization and mapping software company for self-driving cars (acquired by Lyft in 2018); and Represent.com, a creator and custom merchandise platform (acquired by CustomInk in 2016).
Earlier in his career, Sammy focused on celebrity talent relations and live event production, working with Ryan Seacrest and Nickelodeon on projects like the Kid’s Choice Awards. He holds a bachelor's degree in Classical Civilizations from Yale University, where he also sang bass in the world-famous collegiate a cappella group, the Whiffenpoofs.
