Dr. Zhichen Zhao is a Staff Software Engineer at Google, currently focusing on AI innovation and research for the Platform and Devices department, specifically in long term memory and agentic privacy for personalized AI. Previously at Google, he contributed to Google Ad Manager Publisher Intelligence, leading reporting projects and managing large-scale data systems. He also worked on Brain Robotics and was a Google.org fellow.

Before Google, Dr. Zhao was a Financial Engineer at Moore Capital Management and a Quantitative Strategist at Credit Suisse, focusing on derivatives pricing and quantitative modeling. He holds a PhD in High Energy Theoretical Physics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical Physics from Peking University. He is also the published author of a popular science book.
