Andrew Bae
Senior Investor Relations Associate
Andrew is a Senior Investor Relations Associate at Fusion Fund, a Palo Alto–based early-stage venture capital firm, where he helps lead all aspects of investor relations.
Prior to joining Fusion Fund, Andrew served as Director of Policy and Operations at the Association of Asian American Investment Managers (AAAIM), a national nonprofit dedicated to advancing Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) representation in the investment industry. During his tenure, he led the creation of AAAIM’s first-ever Diverse Manager Directory (50 LPs and 120 GPs), designed to support capital-raising efforts for diverse-owned asset managers.
Previously, Andrew was an Investor Relations Associate at Thoma Bravo, a leading technology-focused private equity firm, where he supported the 12-person IR group with fundraising and project management responsibilities, leading to the firm’s record-breaking $32.4 billion fundraise. Earlier in his career, he worked at Albourne Partners as a Portfolio Associate and Venture Capital Investment Due Diligence Associate where he conducted investment due diligence on over 30 leading venture capital firms, including Sequoia, Andreessen Horowitz, Tiger Global, xFund, Goodwater, and Tribe, on behalf of Albourne’s 400+ global institutional LP client base. Andrew holds a B.S. in Finance from U.C. Riverside.
