Matthew brings a blend of machine learning research, healthcare strategy, and early-stage operating experience to Fusion Fund. Prior to joining Fusion Fund, he built pathology foundation models for colon cancer screening at Johns Hopkins Medicine. He went on to ClearView Healthcare Partners as a strategy consultant, supporting new product planning and market intelligence for multinational pharma companies, and joined Motley Bio, an early-stage biotech startup, where he contributed to its business development and go-to-market execution.
This interdisciplinary background shapes his focus on healthcare AI, enterprise AI, and industrial automation. He is especially drawn to visionary founders who push the boundaries of science and technology.
